It’s that time of the year again. My birthday recently passed and with the end of the year approaching I am in planning and review mode. I remembered National Evaluate Your Life Day from the post I wrote last year and thought this would be great to do and share again.
The idea is to evaluate things and make sure you are heading in the right direction. I’m going to start with a 2016 recap before going into this year’s evaluation.
One of the things I noticed first was the commitment I made to socializing more and building new friendships. I’m really happy with the progress that I made in this area.
I’m pleased where I am spiritually this year too!
Last year sleep was a big issues for me. I no longer have that issue and feel that I have been resting a lot better. That is a huge win!
In this area I have some new things that I want to work on, and made a lot of changes in my life and business that should help!
Overall 2018 was full of changes for me. Things started to get hectic until I ended a relationship. I moved and had to make some adjustments in my life, but where I am right now makes me so happy and proud. I am beyond grateful!
So I’m going to break things down for 2018:
I am in a much better place than I was last year. I took a lot of classes and found myself getting stuck in learning mode. I decided to step away from consuming so much to taking more action and using what I know.
I have been so much happier now that I am living single and pursuing the things that I love. Making new friends and building relationships is still a major focus for me. I have definitely grown and gotten out of my shell since last year. I will continue to take care of myself by journaling, meditating, and using essential oils.
One of the rules I made is to say Yes, when I am invited out. I have a goal to attend at least 2 events a month and to connect with the people I care about at least once a week. Unless I have a childcare issue, I say yes and show up.
My spirit is strong and evolving! I once hid my spiritual practices and now they are part of what I do and who I am. I feel more like myself and have been making transformations to support my beliefs and lifestyle.
I stay in a state of gratitude and have been connecting with other spiritually minded people. I started veiling to protect myself spiritually, and that has been transformational and something that I will continue to do.
To further develop spiritually I would like to meditate for a longer period of time each day. I don’t always get to spend a lot of time in meditation, but I think I can carve a solid 20 minutes out of every day for deep meditation. Maybe going to a local meetup would be a way to connect and meditate at the same time. I love how these layers intertwine!
I’m getting good sleep and listening to my body. I have been a lot more active and am drinking water infused with essential oils to help detox and get other benefits oils offer. I think in this area I can disconnect and spend more time outdoors or doing activities with my girls.
More balance between work and active living would be great. With cold weather coming I know I won’t spend a lot of time outdoors, but I definitely want to increase the fun factor and do different things with my daughters.
That is a great way to connect with them and stay active. Kaylah and I took a trip to the mall and it was a lot of fun for both of us. The simple things matter so much!
This area has been the one that needs the most attention. In all honesty, I wasn’t paying as much attention to my finances as I should have been. I have been taking steps I need to gain the financial freedom I desire.
I have a lot to offer and I truly desire to eliminate all my debt and provide the lifestyle I desire for my family. I did a lot of money mindset work and read Jen SIincero’s You Are a Badass at Making Money. I realized I had a lot of fears come up around money and have been working through them.
We have a relationship with money too. Money is energy just like everything else. I transferred a lot of the pain I was dealing with last year to my relationship with money. As time goes on I will share more with you about that. Right now I am working on healing this relationship in my life.
Journal to Clarity
We are 75 days out from 2018! A new year is quickly approaching. In order for you to make true change in your life, you have to be clear where you stand.
In November I will be doing a live, virtual Journal to Clarity workshop. I’ll be sharing more on that later, for now join me in the Spiritual Love Circle for support and accountability throughout the year. Besides focusing on my finances, I am planning on manifesting the love of my life and reaching my business goal!
I want you to join me so when you say New Year, New Me, it has meaning behind it!
